Here is my story. First of all I apologize for my poor english. I was 290 pounds 2 months ago now as in April 19 i ve managed to get down to 253 with help of paleo.I am an Uber driver do I rarely get out the car mesing that no exercise. If you’re eating paleo, snack time probably looks a little different. While you might not be cozying up on the couch with a bag of pretzels, there are plenty of healthy foods that don’t lend themselves well to portion control.

How long before you start losing on Paleo. Today is day 10. I tracked my carbs the first few days (all greens and very little fruit, I have a shake that calls for total fruit 1/2 cup blueberries and 1/2 cup cranberries) Mainly eat three meals a day… bullet proof coffee in the am and then lunch and then dinner maybe a snack (jicama w/tahini or just a few pieces of jicama). Plate is maybe 1/3 veggies, 3-4 oz protein and a healthy fat, cook in coconut oil and/or 1/2 avocado etc. I walk, I do some HIIT (not a lot, but do running of stairs and such) and I do yoga. A little weight lifting in my yard, with 10 lb weights… upper body etc.

Any weight loss program needs to utilize foods that don’t contain those processed ingredients. They will fuel obedity and food addictions. GMO foods will aggravate the problem. If one looks at the top chefs in the world, they will use the best ingredients and we’re not talking expensive either. That is the basis to good food.

One, I cant stand chicken Breast that isnt properly grilled. Is it possible to grill them for a few days(lets say 8 or so) then jam them into the fridge and just heat them up quickly via the microwave or over a skillet for a few mins? or does that lose a lot of its nutrients?

According to bodybuilding legened (the late) Mike Mentzer, a calorie is a calorie. Therefore it shouldn’t really matter where you get your calories from. Ellington Darden (of HIT fame) and Clarence Bass (5% bodyfat at 65 years of age) also recommends a high carb, moderate protein, moderate fat eating plan to lose fat and/or build muscle. This is very much like Blaine Moore’s (above) dietary habits and they seem to work very well.
