I was scared to weigh myself after that, but when I finally did I found I had spiraled to 16st. How did that happen? I eat two meals a day with one snack. Surely that’s not enough calories to make me this fat.
I’m 17 and I did the same thing as you; I worked out about 4 or 5 times a week and ate properly and for the first month did not really loose anything which was discouraging. My dad has been a body builder and personal trainer for 25 years and when I spoke to him about my frusteration he told me a few things. When you begin working out you have to keep in mind that you’re building a lot of muscle (which weighs more than fat) so your weight might not actually drop but you’re getting leaner. And of course the more muscle you build the more calories and fat you burn by doing nothing. After the month was basically done I started to loose weight quite quickly and have lost 25lbs in two months. My eating is by no means perfect (as I am still at 150lbs right now) but I am steadily loosing weight and if you hang in there a bit longer you’ll definitely see results.

Here is my story. First of all I apologize for my poor english. I was 290 pounds 2 months ago now as in April 19 i ve managed to get down to 253 with help of paleo.I am an Uber driver do I rarely get out the car mesing that no exercise. Last 2 weeks no matter what i do i cant loose any weight i am stuck at 253-55. I track my foods in MyFitnessPal and i am way under my calorie intake usually 1300 to 1700 cal per day. So i dont know what to do. Any thoughts?

I’m a college student and just started the paleo diet. I try to work out 5-6 times a week ranging from sessions at the gym to outdoor cardio and crossfit workouts. That being said a large part of my social life includes drinking… how does this fit into the paleo diet? Do I need to completely give up a social life that includes drinking to be successful?

I am not sure if Taye on her January 17 querry got the right help. I have a diabetic condition and use ACV to manage my sugar levels. I however realised that when mixed with medication for diabetes it can lead to hypoglycemia. I recently googled symptoms of hypoglycemia and one of them is having nightmares. So Taye might be having very low levels of glucose due to ACV and possibly condition that does not correct the low levels i.e. diabetic condition or other condition
