I’m new to Paleo but transitioned easily because I had been eating Keto for 3 months. During that time I lost 18 pounds. I also began exercising more vigorously and consistently (4-5x/week) and that’s when I stalled. I have not moved the scale in a month. I switched to Paleo thinking I needed more carbs but am not finding any luck with this either. I’m sure it’s a macros thing but really struggling with figuring it out. I’m gluten free and very limited sugar (none added, only natural occurring). I’d love any insight.

Going off of your comment, I’d guess that you’re 124 lbs. Well, when you were 40 lbs. heavier, even the most basic paleo approach would help you to lose weight because 1) Since you were heavier, it took more calories to maintain that body weight. 2) By going paleo at that heavier weight, you not only entered a caloric deficit automatically but the effect of going grain and sugar free helped to accelerate the process.

The “keep it simple” recommendation hits home for me. After a successful first year eating whole foods/paleo, weight started creeping back on.
