Everything you said is amazing but whats happening to me isn’t mentioned here. And my situation seems really weird. I’m doing the paleo and i go to the gym 4-5 times a week(weight lifting and cardio each time) and i lost 5 kg the first week which was mentioned up there and then 3 weeks have passed without any weight loss and on the 5th day of the 4th week i desided to make 3 cheat days before going detox (a coach at the gym said the solution was to go detox for a week) and on the third day’s (3rd day of cheating) morning i woke up with 2 kg gone. Just like this. (I go up on the scale each morning after hitting the bathroom, sorry for the extra info ). Can you please explain this to me and tell me what i should do… Thanks in advance…

Morning,@ 8:00 a cup of soya milk (80cal) with a teaspoon of sugar. Noon,@12:30 one apple or kiwi. Evening,@4:00 on sun,tue,thur and sat I ate 2 piece of chicken breast with salad and on mon,wed, and fri I ate soup (the soup include corn carrot lentil corn strach cabbage). Night,@9:30 I ate 3 oranges with a small amount of chikpea. Im not sure what to do to lost atleast 15 pound and im breast feeding as well. Please help me what to do . Thanks in advance.

Sugar . . . .none? I do my best to keep it to a minimum, and do not have any refined sugar in the house. Using less and less honey – and the fruit – well, I’m borderline on what would probably be considered “just the right amount” – (what-ever that is), but with the a.m. green drink – the berries and/or peach/banana – in my mind – moderate, just can’t go all green. Nuts….and here I thought the brazil nuts were good for selenium but maybe the oil/fat is the downside – Anyway, this is hard!

    Stephan Guyenet really knows what he is talking about. So does Seth Roberts. I think diets work great because you are gung ho at first and super strict and you have reduced palatability and food reward (Guyenet) and your brain doesn’t know what to make of this strange matter and doesn’t have the wiring in place to associated flavors to calories (Roberts) and you lose your appetite.
    The 1200 Cal non-vegetarian diet chart is almost identical to the vegetarian diet with the exception of eggs, chicken and fish that are included in breakfast, lunch and dinner.
